The sensor is in a good location - no direct sunlight and is well ventilated. -Outside Sensor #2: (Temp only) This outside waterproof Sensor is attached to the right side house (facing NW). The sensor is in a good location - no direct sunlight and is well ventilated. -Outdoor Sensor #3: (Temp/ Relative Humidity) This remote Outside Sensor is under the stairs leading down to the outside patio. The stairs provide shelter from the sun and rain. -Outdoor Sensor #4: (Wind Direction/ Wind Speed) This wind sensor is attached to the backyard shed. The sensor is 8 1/2 feet off the ground. There are some high trees around the sensor which might cause lower wind speeds. -Inside Sensor #5: (Temp/Relative Humidity) This Indoor Sensor is located in our hallway by the house thermostat. -Inside Sensor #6: (Temp/Relative Humidity) This Indoor sensor is located in our attic.
